At above and beyond disability supports our main priority is the happiness and fulfilment of not only the clients, but also our support workers too. We believe everyone should enjoy their day and who they are with, and if for any reason your not happy with your support worker then we ask you just let us know as soon as possible so we can communicate what is going wrong and if needed find another support worker who will meet your needs on a better level.  

You can definitely have a shadow shift with either a current support worker you have, or a shift just spent getting to know your support worker and vice versa and if your not happy or don’t think they are suitable then this can be discussed.

All of our support workers know to give the maximum amount of notice if they are going to be unavailable for a shift, which allows us some time to cover it. We like to have a back up system in place where you have at least met, but ideally had a few shifts with a back up support worker so if the rostered staff is unable to make it we will then endeavour to supply a support worker you already know.

In our meet and greet we will go through all contacts and provide you with all the information in a booklet for you to keep. This will all be explained and available for you in those situations.

Again we will go through all of this information in our initial meetings, however we do require a bit of notice otherwise we will still invoice the provider.
